This new villa is situated in a beautiful and quiet neighbourhood near the sea in Bærum. The site is at the highest point in the area surrounded by pine trees. The house is made up of several volumes, all relating to the adjoining landscape to enable direct access to all levels.

In this way, the house does not only relate to the site, but also provide easy access from all parts of the site. The choice of material also reflects the rough natural quality of the site, e.g. stone and Corten-steel.

There are three terraces on different levels facing different directions, following the sun from the morning to late in the summer evenings. The roof terrace also gives a view to the landmark mountain Kolsås.

The staircases, roof lit from above, are offset from each other; creating a well lid open space, connecting all three levels.
