The Oslo City Council has approved the new headquarters for the large Norwegian company Orkla, named Orkla City. The site is located at Skøyen in Oslo West. The project comprises not only a 16 storey office building but also a separate housing block as its closest neighbour.
Skøyen is the third most important transport node in Norway, providing short distance between the Orkla buildings and the various modes of transport, including the Airport Express Train.
The office building with shops and ancillary services comprise 24.000 m2 (BRA) whilst the housing block will offer high quality accommodation in a significant urban area.
NSW are architects for both the office building and the housing block.
