NSW and StudioNSW have just returned from a very successful study trip to Vorarlberg where Austria, Germany and Switzerland meet.
50 of the firms’ 60 employees gained valuable firsthand knowledge of some of the most exciting works of architecture in the very heart of Europe, encompassing the latest thinking in environmental
design coupledwith excellence in architecture.
During the four day visit more than 35 buildings – large and small – were visited. This included medieval villages, modern urban spaces, and the latest art museum and parliamentary building in Lichtenstein.
The highlight of the trip was undoubtedly the visit to a grand mountain ‘chalet’ on the altitude of 2,262 meters, enjoying not only the outstanding architecture but also the views of the Swiss alps in the
most stunning sunset! Ref. group photo.
