The project is more than a housing project. It is all about designing a vision for an entire city block at Rodeløkka, Oslo, an area with an amazing history. The project also reflects more than 120 years of Norwegian industrial – and architectural history.
The use of materials enhances the mix of old and new. The project reflects the fusion of historic and modern architecture. A part of the quarter will be especially suitable for families, with day care integrated into the green oasis in the courtyard. There are also many cultural activities located in and around The Chocolate Factory-area.
The project hoses a total of 153 apartments, most of them with french balconies or balconies, and direct access to underground parking garage. In the large shared green courtyard, there is a community center in addition to a day care-center. Large shared roof terracees offer great views.
