City prize was established by the homeowners’ association (Huseiernes Landsforbund) and awarded the first time in 1998. The price was meant to create awareness about successful real estate projects.
The prize is awarded to a project that:
1. is a good commercial product, seen from both tenants and owner’s side
2. has adopted new concepts and new solutions
3. is a good strategic investment that adds immediate area of positive values and gives a “lift”
4. not a property interest, but may well include housing
5. is built or planned in the past 2-3 years
6. is environmentally conscious
