Ole Wiig is senior partner of Narud Stokke Wiig Sivilarkitekter AS.
He is educated at the University of Manchester, England and at Harvard, USA and has later practiced several years as architect abroad. He founded Narud-Stokke-Wiig Sivilarkitekter in 1979, in association with Jørn Narud and Gudmund Stokke,
He was president of the Norwegian Architects National Foundation (NAL) during 1990-94.
Ole Wiig has a broad experience within management and design of most types of assignments related to planning and architecture. He has been responsible for large commercial buildings in Trondheim and Oslo. He also has experience with refurbishment and rehabilitation related to urban renewal and public buildings, like the Norwegian Royal Palace, Embassy of the Netherlands and head quarter of Sparebanken Nor, all in Oslo.
Ole Wiig has conducted several winning teams in architectural competitions in and outside of Norway, thereof Tønsberg football field including new stadium stands and housing, Rica Hotel in Trondheim and new pedestrian bridge across Nidelva in Trondheim.
